Witcombe 2023: A Weekend to Remember!

What a weekend it was! Witcombe 2023 marked our tenth-year anniversary, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Packed with incredible artists, unreal performances, and the best vibes, it’s safe to say that the memories made will last a lifetime. Let’s dive into the highlights of this unforgettable event!

Bugzy Malone Ignites Friday Night

Witcombe kicked off with our biggest Friday ever. The day started with two hours of Bingo Lingo in the big top, setting the tone for what was to come. The main stage lit up with garage vibes, featuring Kele Le Roc and DJ Luck & MC Neat, who brought the tunes and the vibes! Fire in the Booth legend Charlie Sloth delivered an awesome set that got our record-sized crowd bouncing and singing along. But the highlight of the night was Bugzy Malone’s performance. The Manchester rapper brought massive tunes, crazy energy, and an incredible end to Witcombe 2023 Day 1. It felt amazing to be back!

Saturday’s Rain Can’t Dampen the Party

Despite the rain on Saturday, the party never stopped. Fans danced through awesome sets from BBC 1’s Arielle Free and rising drum ‘n’ bass star A Little Sound. Bad Boy Chiller Crew, the boys from Braddy, brought the sunshine and delivered a crazy set that had the crowd going MAD! And then came the drum ‘n’ bass legends, Chase & Status. Their set was something truly special and one of the biggest we’ve ever seen. Fans in the front row will never forget Tom Zanetti jumping down mid-set for a crowd surf and selfies while a MEGA firework display set the sky ablaze. What a day it was!

Sunday: The Grand Finale

But the fun didn’t stop there. Locals loved the return of Gloucestershire boys Duke, and the main stage continued to bounce with awesome sets from Gardna, Not3s, and Venbee, to name a few. The Music Works Stage showcased a host of local talent that fans couldn’t get enough of, and the Big Top was electric on Sunday. Special mention to legends Fabio & Grooverider, immediately followed by Goddard & Dread, who sent the tent wild. Fans flooded back to the main stage for DJ Fresh’s monstrous set, and then came the moment we’d all been waiting for – Rag ‘n’ Bone Man’s finale. The chart-topping, award-sweeping superstar’s iconic voice delivered massive tracks like “Human,” “Skin,” and “Giant” to a Witcombe crowd who sang every word right back. What a performance! What a weekend!
